Upon arrival at Havana's international airport, a private transfer will take you to your accommodation. Check-in and overnight stay in a "Casa Particular," which translates to "Special House."
Casas Particulares are private houses, mostly built during the colonial era and always managed with charm and heart. They offer comfortable rooms with one or more beds and a private bathroom. The hosts are all very accommodating and provide a warm service. Here, you have the opportunity to experience Cuba up close!
After breakfast, you'll be picked up for a guided walking tour through Old Havana. Your guide will show you throughout the day why Havana was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience up close the morbid charm of the Old Town with its once proud buildings, where life still pulsates. Some of the buildings, some dating back to the 16th century, have been renovated. However, the renovation progresses very slowly, so some magnificent buildings have aged since the revolution 50 years ago, retaining their unique appeal. You'll visit Plaza San Francisco de Asis, Calle Obispo, Plaza de Armas, and Hotel Ambos Mundos, where Hemingway wrote some of his masterpieces. Additionally, you'll see the art museum, Plaza de la Catedral lined with baroque buildings, and Plaza Vieja. Enjoy the view from the Universidad de La Habana and let your guide show you the real Havana, providing tips for your further stay there. Lunch at a restaurant included.
Overnight stay in Havana in your Casa Particular.
After breakfast, check-out from your Casa Particular. A transfer will take you to the rental station to pick up your camper. You'll receive a brief introduction and all the necessary information about your camper, maps with camping sites, important phone numbers, and tips for your camper journey in Cuba.
Your first stop is the Finca Campesina in Las Terrazzas, about 50km from Havana in the heart of the Sierra del Rosario.
Here, you'll enjoy a half-day guided tour through the unique nature of the Las Terrazzas protected area.
Established in 1984 as Cuba's first biosphere reserve, Las Terrazzas is now known for its sustainable tourism. About a hundred families live here surrounded by lush jungle. Much of the forest has been reforested in local projects after deforestation. To prevent erosion, this was done in terraces, hence the name of the place, La Terrazzas. During your tour, discover the ancient coffee plantation Buena Vista and continue to the San Juan River bank, where you can enjoy a perfect view. You'll also have the opportunity to watch artisans at work and buy their crafts. At the end of the tour, you'll pass through the rural community of Las Terrazza and end with a typical Cuban meal, the "Comida Criolla."
Continue to Soroa and overnight at the "Villa Soroa Parking Area."
oday, participate in a half-day tour in Soroa. The Soroa Biosphere Reserve is surrounded by exceptional beauty and colorful nature. Visit "La Ceiba," the oldest tree in the region at 650 years old, and learn about its significance for the local Afro-Cuban religion. After visiting the orchid garden "Orquideario de Soroa," you'll have the opportunity to refresh yourself at the beautiful and enchanting waterfall "Salto de Agua" surrounded by Caribbean nature.
Continue your journey with your camper to Viñales. Your destination is the La Ermita Hotel in Viñales. The Viñales Valley is a true natural paradise, one of the most beautiful landscapes in Cuba and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Be sure to stop at the "Mirador de Los Jazmines" viewpoint to enjoy the breathtaking view of this beautiful area.
The Viñales Valley is also known for its world-famous tobacco cultivation.
Early in the morning, embark on a full-day excursion with your camper to Cayo Levisa island.
Your camper will remain at the Palma Rubia port, and a motorboat will take you to the island in about 35 minutes (boat ride included). You can relax all day on the paradise 3km long white beach. The beach belongs to a hotel where you can explore the "Corona de San Carlo" reef, well known to local divers, at its Diving Center. Lunch at the hotel is included.
In the evening, the boat will take you back to the mainland and to your camper, and you'll drive back to the La Ermita Hotel parking lot in Viñales.
Today, you have a full-day tour ahead, starting with a short guided walk through the village. Afterwards, you'll visit one of the local plantations to learn about the cultivation of the world-famous tobacco and coffee. The farmers, affectionately called "Guajiros," are happy to provide insights into how agriculture works in Cuba and will invite you to lunch afterwards.
Next, you'll visit the limestone cliffs, which are the source of the region's fascination. The rock in the area where the valley is located belongs to the oldest geological part of Cuba, dating back about 170 million years. After that, you'll head to the "Marina Hemingway Parking Lot" near Havana.
In the morning, continue your journey to "Cienaga de Zapata," which translates to Zapata's Swamp. It's another UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the largest swamp in the entire Caribbean. The day is at your leisure, and you have the option to book a tour guide for a full-day excursion. Learn about the Soplillar charcoal workers and Fidel's remarkable activities in this area. Visit Hondones, where you'll see the agro-technical advancements made by its residents and have lunch. Afterwards, take a walk along the "Enima de las Rocas" trail with its peculiar rock formations. Finally, conclude the day with a refreshing swim in the cenote. Overnight stay at the "Villa Playa Larga Hotel."
Drive with your camper to Playa Larga. The day is at your leisure. Leave your camper at the Villa Playa Larga parking lot, where a tour guide will meet you. Visit the largest crocodile breeding center in Cuba and experience the animals up close. Afterward, explore the reconstructed Indian village of Aldea Taína, where you'll learn about Cuba's indigenous people before Christopher Columbus's arrival. Overnight stay at the "Villa Playa Larga Hotel."
Today, head to the "Pearl of the South," Cienfuegos. This city will surely enchant you with its French elegance and Caribbean charm. Or as the famous Cuban singer Benny Moré said, "la ciudad que mas me gusta a mi" (the city I like the most). Leave your camper at the Hotel Las Cuevas and embark on a half-day guided city tour. Founded by French settlers in the early 19th century, Cienfuegos is now part of UNESCO's World Heritage. Although not directly built on a beach, the entire city revolves around the ocean. The second-largest bay on the island is lined with an inviting Malecón, especially enjoyable for an evening stroll. Explore the boulevard of Cienfuegos, the City Hall, the Thomas Terry Theater—one of the oldest in Latin America. Lunch is included. Later, take the time to enjoy a Mojito at the elegant "El Palacio Del Valle."

Meet your tour guide at the Costa Sur Hotel in Trinidad for a half-day city tour. If you're traveling in April or May, you'll have the opportunity to witness the annual migration of the famous red crabs on their way to the sea.
Trinidad awaits you as one of the most beautiful Cuban cities. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. Founded by Diego Velázquez in 1514 as the third city on the island in the name of the Spanish crown, you'll see its long history evident throughout the tour. The city's grand colonial past is reflected in its 18th and 19th-century architecture. Take a leisurely stroll on the cobblestone streets and admire the architecture of the beautifully restored buildings, majestic churches, and charming gardens. Some of the old villas have been converted into museums like the Palacio Cantero (City Museum) and Palacio Brunet (Romantic Museum). Visit the Plaza Mayor, the Church of the Holy Trinity with the famous El Señor de la Vera Cruz cross, and the small Plazuela del Jigüe where the city's first Catholic mass was celebrated in 1514. We recommend trying the popular Canchánchara cocktail at the Canchánchara Bar (not included). But first, visit the Casa de la Cultura Julio Cuevas Díaz, an art school of the Ministry of Culture promoting music, visual arts, literature, and dance. It's a perfect place for a unique souvenir. Lunch at a local restaurant is included.
In the morning, continue your journey to Santa Clara, the city of Che Guevara. Meet your tour guide at the Le Caneyes Hotel parking lot for a half-day city tour. Everything in Santa Clara revolves around its national hero. See the only statue of Che Guevara holding a child and the Casa del Partido, the headquarters of the Communist Party, dedicated to him. This building is full of symbolism that you can only truly discover when standing before it. Visit the Monument of the Armored Train, which Che Guevara derailed during the Battle of Santa Clara, marking the end of Batista's dictatorship and paving the way for Fidel Castro's socialist regime. At the main square and Leoncio Vidal Park, you'll find more historical monuments like the La Glorieta Pavilion where Cuban Danzón is still frequently played, the statue honoring patriot Martha Abreu, and a bit further from the park, the La Caridad Theater, the provincial library, and the Santa Clara Libre Hotel, which still bears bullet holes from the battle. Lastly, explore the most significant monument in the entire province, the "Plaza Che Guevara." This complex was built in 1987 on the 20th anniversary of Che's assassination in Bolivia. Under the statue lies a mausoleum with 38 niches dedicated to the revolutionaries who died in Bolivia, where these heroes were laid to rest. Lunch at a local restaurant is included.
Continue your journey to Varadero, where you can spend your free day as you please. Leave your camper at the Josone Park parking lot.

Return to Havana and return your camper at the Bello Caribe Hotel. Make sure you don't forget anything in the vehicle before being taken to your accommodation, a Casa Particular.
