You will visit Hondones, where you will be shown the agro-technical advances of its inhabitants and where you can have lunch. Afterwards, take a walk along the "Enima de las Rocas" path with its strange rock formations. There you can then take a refreshing bath in the cenote at the end of the day. Overnight at Villa Playa Larga Hotel.
In the early morning we continue after breakfast. After about 2 hours drive you reach Cienfuegos. There is enough time to explore the city. Continue to Trinidad and overnight in a casa particular.
Today, after breakfast, one of the most beautiful cities in Cuba awaits. Trinidad was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988. The city was founded in 1514 by Diego Velázquez as the third city on the island in the name of the Spanish crown. You will be able to see this long history in many places during the tour. You can see the great colonial past above all in the buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries. Stroll the cobbled streets and take in the architecture of the many beautifully renovated buildings, majestic churches and enchanting gardens. Some of the old villas have been converted into museums such as the Palacio Cantero (City Museum) and Palacio Brunet (Romantic Museum). You will visit the Plaza Mayor and the Church of the Holy Trinity with the famous cross El Señor de la Vera Cruz as well as the small Plazuela del Jigüe where the first Catholic mass of the city was celebrated in 1514. We recommend you try the popular cocktail of the same name at the Canchánchara Bar (not included). But first, visit the Casa de la Cultura Julio Cuevas Díaz, an art school run by the Ministry of Culture to promote music, plastic arts, literature and dance. A perfect place for a fancy souvenir. In the afternoon you should go to Ancón Beach, 15 km away. This is considered to be the most beautiful beach in Cuba.
After breakfast, embark on an excursion full of tropical vegetation and waterfalls. The Topes de Collantes National Park is very close to Trinidad. The hiker's paradise near the coast line is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Cuba. It offers sweeping views, wild jungle scenery and glimpses of tropical ecosystems. There is a lot to discover on foot: Ancient and huge trees, ferns that reach into the sky, hidden mountain caves and picturesque waterfalls that invite you to swim with their natural pools.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, head north towards Varadero. On the way you will pass Torre de Manaca and also Santa Clara, where the remains of "Che" Guevara rest.
Check out today. Your private transfer is waiting for you and takes you to Varadero Airport or Havana Airport.
Upon arrival at Havana International Airport, a private transfer will await you and take you to your accommodation. Check in and overnight stay in a "Casa Particular", which means something like "special house".
Tour in the morning, vintage car drive in the afternoon. Lunch in a restaurant included. After breakfast you will be picked up for a city tour of Old Havana. Your guide will show you why Havana was named a World Heritage Site. Experience the morbid charm of the Old Town with its once proud buildings, which are still pulsating with life. Some of the buildings here, some of which date back to the 16th century, have already been renovated. However, the renovation is progressing very slowly and so some magnificent buildings have aged unhindered since the revolution 50 years ago and make up the very special attraction. Plaza San Francisco de Asis, Calle Obispo, Plaza de Armas and Hotel Ambos Mundos where Hemingway wrote some of his masterpieces, the Art Museum, Plaza de la Catedral lined with baroque buildings and Plaza Vieja await you. Enjoy the view from the Universidad de La Habana Let your guide show you the real Havana and give you tips for your further stay there.
After breakfast, check out of your casa particular. You will be picked up and taken to your first stop: the Finca Campesina in Las Terrazza, about 50km from Havana in the heart of the Sierra del Rosario.
After breakfast, your guide will embark on a full-day tour that begins with a short guided walk through the town. Afterwards you will visit one of the local plantations and learn how the world famous tobacco and coffee is grown. The farmers, affectionately known as "Guajiros", will be happy to provide you with information on how agriculture works in Cuba and then invite you to lunch.
Breakfast in the country house. Today's excursion takes you to one of the most beautiful beaches in Cuba. The road leading to the north is very bumpy, but it's worth the journey! You will spend a beautiful day on a quiet and white sandy beach.
After breakfast we head east. After about 4 hours drive you will reach the Zapata Swamp. In the largest swamp in the Caribbean, bird lovers will find a true paradise. But also crocodiles and other animals can be seen there. Overnight at Playa Larga.
